There is a 12 year gap in my life that spanned from accepting Jesus as my savior in 1998 to 2010 when you would have hardly known I was saved by the blood of Jesus. I refer to those 12 years as my “Sower Parable Years” found in Matthew 13:1-23, Mark 4:1-20, or Luke 8:1-15 where my seed sprung up in stony soil and among the thorns. About the only way one could tell I knew Jesus during those 12 years was to ask me directly and only then would I acknowledge that I was saved. God never left me but gave me space to purge the issues I had with being open about my relationship with Him. My relationship with Jesus was some version of an awkward personal thing that I felt embarrassed to talk about Jesus openly. God let there be distance between us because I was not seeking a deeper relationship with Him. I let myself drift into a place that did not feel right and I often desired a closer relationship with God but I didn’t know how get it. God had to teach me that I would step out in faith again to activate His deeper presence in my life.
- Excerpt from the The Sower Parable Years testimony.
In 2010 I began attending church and on 10/24/2010 I got baptized and chose to confess Christ as Lord over my life and follow Him. Two weeks later God came to me in a dream and I awoke having heard the Lord say “use your talents for me.” This was what I heard Him say and I just understood what He meant. In my Salvation Testimony I described how seeking God eventually lead me to the idea to “read their book” – meaning I decided to read the Bible to see what it said who God is. Next, in my quest to discover who God was I sought Christians at my workplace with questions about what I was struggling to understand about God. There was neither a developed Internet nor search engine in those days (1997) else I would have likely sought the Internet as at least one “tool” for researching the answer to my questions about God. In short, I likely would have used the Internet to “seek” God.
In the dream God showed me that He knew people were using the Internet to seek Him and He wanted a website where He dictated the content. God showed me that He wanted a website that directed people to the truth about Jesus Christ as revealed in Scripture. God wanted a website that pointed people to read the Bible for the answers to who He is and was and always will be. God wanted a website that revealed that He alone is faithful to answer those who diligently seek Him day and night. God wants to warn His children who are seeking Him about the false teachings found on the Internet, the scoffers, the unbelievers, and the views of those who hate Him. I understood God wanted to give testimony to those who will believe He is and answer questions about who He is and what He wants you to do. God wants you to turn away from your sin and turn to Him, to accept Christ, to accept Jesus as your savoir.

The Bible
The Bible is the complete and infallible word of God. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
Jesus is the Son of God. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. Jesus is the Lord. Jesus did come in the flesh and was crucified at Calvary for the remission of sins. God raised Jesus on the third day.Jesus is the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
